One lucky winner will receive a complete travel package to attend Beaches & Bachata 2025 in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic (June 24-30, 2025), valued at approximately $2,200.

Prize Package Includes:

  • Full program registration fee ($800 value)

  • Round-trip airfare from anywhere US to Santo Domingo (SDQ) up to $700 value

  • Hotel accommodations in Las Terrenas ($700 value)

    • 6 dance lessons with local instructors

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Must purchase a full pass for the March 8, 2025 FTLOB 12th Anniversary Bash event by March 1st, 2025.

  2. Must attend the March 8, 2025 event in person. All workshops and evening party.

  3. Must be 18 years or older

  4. Must have a valid passport that will not expire before January 2026

  5. Must be able to travel to Dominican Republic during the specified dates (June 24-30, 2025).

How to Enter:

1. Purchase a full pass to the March 8, 2025 FTLOB 12th Anniversary Bash by March 1st, 2025 (no exceptions).

2. Fill out the Contest Form on website to claim your raffle ticket. Only persons interested & able to attend will be entered into the drawing.

3. Must be present at the drawing during the Anniversary Party to win.

Important Notes:

The winner is responsible for:

  • Any airfare costs exceeding $700 and/or any upgrades. Has to be paid to FTLOB when airfare is being booked

  • Any hotel costs exceeding $700 and/or any upgrades

  • Lunch & Dinner Meals not included in the program

  • Personal expenses and souvenirs

  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

  • Passport and travel documentation

  • Additional activities or private lessons

Drawing Details:

  • The drawing will take place on March 8, 2025.

  • Time: 10:45 PM SHARP (must be present to win).

  • Location: Arthur Murray Dance Center 136 6th St., Pittsburgh, PA.

  • Winner must be present to claim prize. Valid ID required.

  • If the winner is unable to accept the prize or is not present, a redraw will occur.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Prize is non-transferable, has no cash value and cannot be used for any other travel year.

  2. Winner must confirm acceptance within 48 hours of drawing.

  3. Winner must complete/provide all necessary travel documentation by April 1, 2025 to FTLOB Lead so airfare and hotel accommodations can be arranged.

  4. Prize covers program registration fee, flight, hotel accommodations for 6 nights ($2,200 approx. value)

  5. For The Love of Bachata (FTLOB) is not responsible for:

    1. Visa requirements or denials.

    2. Flight delays or cancellations.

    3. Personal injuries or losses during travel.

    4. Changes to program schedule due to weather or local conditions.

  6. Winner agrees to:

    1. Follow all program guidelines, values, code of conduct

    2. Respect local customs and culture.

    3. Participate in group activities as able.

    4. Post daily photos and videos of their Beaches & Bachata experience on social media.

    5. Tag @fortheloveofbachata in all related social media posts

    6. Allow FTLOB to reshare their posted content.

Social Media Requirements

The winner will be required to document their Beaches & Bachata experience through social media posts including:

  • Photos and videos of classes, activities, and experiences

  • Daily updates throughout the trip

  • All posts must tag @fortheloveofbachata

  • Content must be appropriate and align with FTLOB values

  • Winner grants FTLOB permission to re-share any posted content
